Simple, credit-based pricing

Every API call costs credits. Search costs 1–5 credits depending on depth (snippets 1, basic 3, advanced 5), Fetch costs 1 credit, Extract costs 5 credits, and Research costs 25 credits. Adding include_answer to any search adds 5 credits. You can see your balance in the dashboard.

Monthly plans (Builder, Startup, Growth) · Subscribe for a fixed monthly price and get a set number of credits that reset each billing cycle. All tools included.

Pay-as-you-go · Buy credits whenever you need them at $0.005 each. No monthly commitment. Credits never expire. Includes all tools.

Monthly plan credits: No. Plan credits reset to your plan's amount each billing cycle.

Purchased credits: Yes. Credits you buy (pay-as-you-go top-ups) never expire, even if your plan credits reset. They are tracked separately.

API calls will return a 402 error. You can buy more credits (pay-as-you-go) or upgrade your monthly plan from the dashboard.

Your plan switches immediately with no charge today. A prorated credit for your unused days on the old plan is applied to your next invoice.

Your credits are adjusted fairly: we add the difference between the new and old plan's credit allowance to your current balance. For example, if you're on Builder (5,000 credits) with 3,000 remaining and upgrade to Startup (20,000 credits), you get 3,000 + 15,000 = 18,000 credits.

Your current plan stays active until the end of your billing period. After that, GitHub accounts revert to the free tier (1,000 credits/month). Email accounts revert to pay-as-you-go. Either way, you keep any remaining credits, they won't be taken away.

Yes. You can top up credits at any time regardless of your plan. Purchased credits are tracked separately from your plan credits. They never expire and are not affected by monthly resets. Plan credits are used first, so your purchased credits are only spent after your plan credits run out.

Go to the dashboard and click Regenerate on your API key. The old key stops working immediately. Your account and credits are safe. API keys can only make API calls, they cannot access your dashboard or change your account settings.
